In the beginning, there was only chaos—a vast void devoid of form, matter, and time. Out of this primordial darkness emerged the first forces: Light and Darkness. These two opposites were locked in an eternal struggle, creating the primal sources of power that birthed the worlds. Yet their conflict could never completely annihilate one side, for both aspects were essential to sustain balance. From the clash of these elemental forces, the universe was born, where matter and energy began to take shape.
At the peak of the conflict between Light and Darkness, a burst of creative energy brought forth the four primary elements—Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. These elements became the building blocks of the physical world, filling it with life, matter, and energy. At the heart of it all lay a force known as the Essence, permeating every corner of the universe. It contained both physical and magical power, enabling various races to unlock elemental secrets and wield them.
From this Essence arose the primal beings known as Elementals, each embodying one of the four elements. They became the first guardians of the elements and the pioneers of magical knowledge in the world.
As the elements began to shape the world, Light and Darkness decided to create beings that would embody their presence. Thus, the gods were born, who populated the world they created with diverse peoples and nations. Each race was bound to a specific element, energy, or power, and soon their kingdoms began to form.
However, balance was fleeting. The people of Eclipse, driven by pride and a thirst for power, sought control over all sources of strength, provoking conflicts. Their ambitions led to the creation of a new hybrid race—Darkhold, which included orcs, goblins, and other beings who combined the force of Eolaria’s nature with the dark aspect of Eclipse. Thus began the bloodiest wars.
On one side stood Light and its supporters from Celestia, the Illuminates, and the Humans. On the other stood Darkness and its allies from Eclipse, the Necromancers, and the Darkhold. Caught between were the neutral realms such as Eolaria, Mithrodar, and Rotfen, each striving to defend its lands and preserve balance.
